Zinc


Deficiency Symptoms

  • Light yellow stripes along with veins of leaf blade under acute condition.
  • Interveinal chlorosis and cessation of growth of terminal bud. 
  • Older leaves may show slight chlorosis

Correction Measures

  • Apply 25 Kg ZnSO4/ha (basal) or foliar spray of 0.5% ZnSO4 (5g/lit) at fortnight intervals, after the appearance of deficiency symptoms
