Farming system

Farming system is an integrated approach to farming with several enterprises (e.g., rice cultivation, pisciculture, horticulture, poultry and cattle dairying), designed to be complementary to each other. A combination of one or more enterprises with cropping, when carefully chosen, planned and executed, gives greater dividends than a single enterprise, especially for small and marginal farmers.
