Need -based finance is provided in the following forms for agricultural and allied activities.

• Short term production loans ( crop loans) for purchase of inputs
  
• Loans for purchase of farm machinery
  
• Loans for horticulture and plantation
  
• Loans for allied agricultural activities which include dairy, poultry, goat/sheep rearing, fishery, prawn culture, piggery, sericulture, aquaculture, ductery, rabbit farming, quail farming mushroom cultivation etc
  
• Loans for construction of biogas plant

Margin, rate of interest and security norms for the loans are subject to the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India from time to time.
