            | Nursery Technique |
Seeds are sown in lines in May - June. Germination starts in 6 -7 days and completed in 15 days. The seedlings are stumped and transplanted in transplant beds in February next year. In the next January plants are uprooted. Roots and shoots are pruned and planted out in next year. The age of the plant is 9 months + 1 year at this stage.Seeds can be directly dibbled in polybags. 13 x 25 cm size bags will given 4 feet height in 6 months and 30 x 45 cm bags will give 8 feet in 6 months. |
