This is the foremost commercial variety in Tamil Nadu. The plant is tall, hard and grows vigorously under the ratooning system. The fruits are small to medium in size, yellow skinned, firm fleshed with a sub-acid taste and individual finger with prominent nipple. The duration varies from 11-14 months. The average bunch weight is about 15kg having 8-12 hands. In each hand with 11-18 fingers.
