• Grown in Paramakudi taluk of Ramnad district
• Drought resistant and tall variety
• Yield is 1500-1800 kg per acre
• Rice and kudiraivali, a millet (in border areas) system is followed.  Kudiraivali yield is 600 kg per acre
• In some fields 3 types of sorghum are grown as border crop.  They are red, white and black.
