Empowerment of women through training
Women self-help groups were formed, monitored and assisted in arranging bank credit for starting entrepreneurship at small scale level. The trust helps them to support their venture through training, counseling and promotion of unity to improve the living style with self- sufficiency. Sequence of entrepreneur development programs were organized, conducted and evaluated. Skill development programs were organized in food processing and preservation, bakery and confectionery, instant foods, supplementary nutritious foods, value added millet products etc.
Saving for better future
LIC of India has launched a special micro insurance scheme for weaker section namely New Jeevan Mangal. The trust is in collaboration with LIC implemented the scheme among economically weaker section. Village to village campaign is being undertaken to impart the concept of small saving for future development.
Facilities and Assets available
The centre offers training in the field of value added products. Being an FSSAI certified centre entrepreneur get an opportunity to standardize the products for launching in market. This promotes incubation facilities for small and tiny business development among SHG members.
The unit has potable water, Three–phase Power connection to run gadgets, Pollution free atmosphere and proper drainage system.
