Methodology

Procurement of on-farm Inputs

For seed Nourishment/Treatment (Beej Sanskar) : (All ingredients should be taken fresh and to be used fresh) Seed, if nourished naturally (occurring ingredients), response better, attains viability and gives more tillers, with these crop response more and better yield.
Seed Nourishment Injection (use any one formulation just half-and-hour   before sowing)

1. Take Lassi (Butter milk)/ Diluted curd or Vermi wash or Cow Urine or Fresh milk (10 parts) and add one part old gur (jaggery) or honey. Example: For one acre wheat sowing, 40 kg of seed is require, here two litres of buttermilk and two hundred gram jaggery is sufficient.
2. Few of such innovative seed treating formulations, which would be covered during this concept are as follows:
   1. Butter milk (Lassi fresh) seed treatment 50 ml per kg seed
   2. Cow milk+honey for seed treatment 50 ml per kg seed
   3. Cow urine or urine termite mound soil paste
   4. Bargad Tree Soil 100 g per kg seed etc.
   5. Bijamrut: Mix cow dung 5 kg, cow urine 5 lit and cow milk 1 lit with 250 g lime in a drum with 100 lit of water. Keep the solution overnight. Sprinkle this solution over seeds for treatment. Dry the seeds and sow.
   6. Placenta Injection or Jer Khad (Apply10-15 g per kg seed with 5 g of jagery or honey). Put the placenta oozed during animal delivery in earthen pot, cover the lid and put the pot in 2 feet deep pit, cover it with soil, Jerk had get ready in 60-90 days.
